Biomass sensor
The Niterra OZA685-WW1 lambda sensor measures the residual oxygen in the flue gas of a biomass heating system and transmits the measured values to the heating control system. This allows the combustion process to be continuously adjusted to different operating conditions.
The sensor is suitable for biomass heating systems using log wood, wood chips or pellets and supports precise combustion control.
The zirconium element is a so-called solid-state electrolyte.
The core of this probe is a hollow, finger-shaped ceramic.
To reach the desired operating temperature, a heater inserted into the element is switched on. Depending on the residual oxygen content in the exhaust gas, a high or low electrical voltage is generated in a complex process.
Protective tube
The metal protective tube protects the probe element from solids and dust in the exhaust gas.
Heater
An integrated heater ensures that the probe element reaches the required operating temperature very quickly and a constant mV signal is given after just a few minutes.

Hexagon
The probe is screwed in using the hexagon. Pay attention to the appropriate tightening torque.
Seal
To prevent moisture from entering the sensor, the cables are routed to the outside through a rubber seal. This rubber seal is pressed over the sensor housing.

This grey cable provides the ground connection to the electronics.
Probe signal
The probe signal is transmitted to the electronics via this black cable.
Replacement for Bosch LSM 11
The probe is suitable for biomass heating systems in which the Bosch LSM 11 was previously installed. It is ideal for existing systems where simple replacement without modifications is required.
